چکیده

Objective: to determine the effect of nano-hydroxyapatite and different bioactive remineralizing agent in treatment loss enamel minerals. Material M nano-hydroxyapatite, Casein phospho-peptide amorphous calcium phosphate Sodium Fluoride. While artificial saliva was applied on control specimens. Surface microhardness measurements baseline were calculated, before/after demineralization digital 3D Profilometer scanned. The data collected ANOVA test used followed by Tukey’s post-hoc compare between variables significance level set at P ≤ 0.05. Results: group showed no significant difference mean hardness with CPP-ACP nanoparticle while there is a other material. Nanohydroxyapatite significantly greater than Conclusion: Nano-hydroxyapatite has potential remineralize initial lesions. are that improve may be optimal for remineralization early caries.

Effect of nano-hydroxyapatite concentration on remineralization of initial enamel lesion in vitro.

The purpose of the research was to determine the effect of nano-hydroxyapatite concentrations on initial enamel lesions under dynamic pH-cycling conditions. Initial enamel lesions were prepared in bovine enamel with an acidic buffer. NaF (positive control), deionized water (negative control) and four different concentrations of nano-hydroxyapatite (1%, 5%, 10% and 15% wt%) were selected as the ...

Effect of Different Topical Agents on Remineralization of Early Enamel Lesion– an in vitro Study

Objective: This study aimed to compare the effect of using Casein phosphopeptide – amorphous calcium phosphate (CPP-ACP) paste, Remin-Pro and Fluoride Varnish on remineralization of enamel lesions. Methods: In this experimental-in vitro study, 60 intact premolars and molars were used and flat enamel surfaces were prepared. The specimens were divided into 6 groups (N=10). After primary DIAGNO...

Protective effect of zinc-hydroxyapatite toothpastes on enamel erosion: An in vitro study

BACKGROUND The aim of the present study was to test the impact of different toothpastes with Zinc-Hydroxyapatite (Zn-HAP) on preventing and repairing enamel erosion compared to toothpastes with and without fluoride. MATERIAL AND METHODS The following four toothpastes were tested: two toothpastes with Zn-HAP, one toothpaste with fluoride and one toothpaste without fluoride. An additional contr...

Remineralization and repair of enamel surface by biomimetic Zn-carbonate hydroxyapatite containing toothpaste: a comparative in vivo study

Consumption of acidic foods and drinks and other factors that cause enamel wear are responsible for the daily enamel loss and degradation. Use of some toothpastes that have been showed to possess different properties of remineralisation and/or repair of the enamel surface may help to protect tooth enamel. The aim of this study was to evaluate whether the use of toothpaste containing Zn-carbonat...

Remineralization Effect of Eggshell versus Nano-hydroxyapatite on Caries-like Lesions in Permanent Teeth (In Vitro)

Background: Eggshell (ES) is a rich source of minerals since it contains calcium, phosphorous, magnesium, strontium, and fluoride. This study sought to compare the efficacy of nanohydroxyapatite (NHA) and ES for remineralization of enamel caries-like lesions by pH cycling. Materials and Methods: In this in vitro experimental study, artificial enamel carious lesions were induced in 47 human teet...
